We’re thrilled to invite you to our favourite event of the year, where we come together to give away giant cheques to incredible causes!

But first, let us introduce ourselves.

We’re Meridian Global, a not-for-profit organisation on a mission since 2005 to foster communal philanthropy and sustainable giving through the magic of our annual Giving Circle.

About the Event

The premise: Everyday philanthropy from everyday people, brought together by the power of communal giving.

The pitches: Three nominated and thoroughly vetted charities will present their pitches, ‘dolphin tank’ style, to win your vote and compete for the largest grant of the evening. Our donors will vote to decide which charity will receive $30,000 (first place), $20,000 (second place), and $10,000 (third place).

The process: After brief formalities and an explanation of the Giving Circle, each finalist will have 7 minutes to pitch their charity and cause. You’ll then have time to decide where your vote will go before we tally the results and celebrate. Doors open at 6 pm, with formalities beginning at 6:45 pm. The event will conclude by 8 pm.

The promise: Be inspired by the stories you hear, the people you meet, and the tangible difference we can make together.

The place: RAC Arena generously hosts us this year to support our charitable giving. We couldn’t be more excited!

The food: Enjoy delicious food and drinks as we celebrate giving together.

The ask: Invite friends and introduce them to Meridian as a fantastic way to give within a community of like-minded professionals. There’s no better introduction than our main event!
