One of the most powerful things about Meridian isn’t any single grant. It’s what happens when we keep doing it — year after year, charity after charity, community after community.

Sixteen years of giving

Meridian has now supported 46 charities. Our Giving Circle awards three grants every single year, and over 16 years, more than $1.39 million has been donated. That’s not one moment of generosity; it’s a habit of it.

Different causes, one community

Some grants have supported families right here in Western Australia. Others have created opportunities in communities thousands of kilometres away. Across the portfolio, we’ve backed health, education, mental health, women and children, poverty reduction and community programs — alongside organisations working to create lasting, sustainable change.

Different charities. Different countries. Different challenges. What connects them isn’t a single cause — it’s a single community. Behind every grant is the same group of people, choosing to give together so their impact can reach further than any of them could alone.

And because Meridian’s model is built around an enduring endowment as well as annual grants, the portfolio isn’t just a record of what we’ve done — it’s a foundation for what we’ll keep doing, with the ambition of giving $1 million every year.
